Are there a minimum number of walks required per week?
Yes. We do not provide part time service for dog clients. We require two scheduled walks per week to be eligible for "on call" and vacation care service for your pet(s).
What Does Pet Sitting Include ?
Pet sitting can be in house or at one of our trusted sitters homes. Pets will get walks, meals, fresh water, treats and cuddle time with our pet sitters. Pet sitting includes 4 walks you will get updates through out the day/ night. You will be charged $45 per night. if you are returning after Noon ( 12pm ) the following day a daytime pet sitting charge of $35 will be apply for that day to cover the 2-3 walks provided.
How does the sign up process work?
In order for us to check availability of a dog walker in your area, please fill out the form under the SIGN UP tab. Once we determine we have a walker available, we can schedule a meet and greet in your home, weekday evenings or during the day on weekends at your convenience.
Do you need keys to my house?
Yes. Westside Paw Walkers does require two sets of keys when used as the preferred method of entry. If only one set is provided, a $6.00 duplicate key charge will be applied to your account once we make a copy.
How do I schedule my walks ?
Once we have completed the meet and greet, you will be given credentials to log in to your Pet Check account where you can schedule your services along with adding payment options and receiving invoices online through that portal. We would like all walks requests in by 8:30am the day of .
Can I request a walk for the same day ?
Yes, you can request a walk for the same day, we just ask that you have requests in before 8:30am. Any request for the same day made after 8:30am will be charged a last minute booking fee of $3 dollars
Do you offer night or early morning walks ?
Yes we do offer early morning walks and evening walks any walk scheduled before 8:30 am or after 5 pm will be charged an additional $3 fee. per pet.
What is your cancellation policy?
24 hours preferably, but we understand things come up. Any walks canceled 3 hours or less from the scheduled walk will be charged a $6 dollars last minute cancellation fee.
Do you walk on weekend and holidays?
Yes. Westside Paw Walkers are available for visits everyday of the year. We do have limited availability on major holidays. Weekend and holiday care must be booked with proper notice since there is limited coverage. We prefer to have all weekend requests in by Noon Friday. There will be an additional charge $3 dollars for weekend and after hours services and $5 dollars for Holiday Services. (New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day ,Thanksgiving Day After Thanksgiving , Christmas Eve, Christmas Day )
Do you do background checks on your walkers?
Yes, all of our applicants undergo a background check, and walkers are monitored throughout their employment.
What does your insurance cover?
Our insurance covers any personal property in our care, custody, and control (including pets). We have proudly partnered with Pet Care Associates LLC.
Can you check in and take out my new puppy or senior dog more than once per day ?
Yes, we provide a puppy and senior 15 minute express package where we'll come, visit and take out your dog twice per day 3-4 hours apart.
Do You Have a Referral Program ?
Yes, Starting June 1st, 2018 any new client referral that signs up for 3 or more walks per week for the first month or when 12 walks have been completed. You the referring party (current client ) will receive 2 free walks. The 2 free walks will be redeemed one walk per week. The 1st walk will be credited after the first week of new client walks have been completed. The 2nd walk will be credited after the 12 walks or first month of walks has been completed whatever comes first. The discount will show a 100% discount on your invoice.
